We put girls first in all that we do. Our curriculum and approach is designed to ensure our students can succeed, balancing academic excellence with opportunities to gain the skills, experience and confidence to tackle whatever they put their minds to.
We continually refine and develop our curriculum to ensure an LGGS education remains exceptional in an ever changing world.
Key Stage 3 (Year 7 to 9) contains a balance of academic, creative and practical subjects. It has been carefully designed to go beyond the requirements set out in the National Curriculum, encouraging each pupil to take responsibility for her own learning, wellbeing and physical health throughout life.
At the end of Year 9 students opt for subjects they will study at GCSE alongside the core subjects of Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. All students choose a Modern foreign language and a humanity GCSE alongside two free choices. At Key Stage 5, a wide range of A-Level courses are on offer alongside a variety of enrichment options and also dedicated time in the week to focus on a broad spectrum of wellbeing activities.
